Client portals: involve clients without giving up control
HeyMetrix client portals are curated, branded landing pages that bundle everything you share with a client (reports, monitoring views, campaign drafts) behind a single invite. Clients get their own read-only viewer accounts and can only ever see what you shared.
Agencies lose hours to “can you send me…?” emails and screenshot decks. A portal replaces them with one link that's always current, in your branding, not ours.
- One invite, everything shared
- Read-only viewer accounts
- Structured feedback with annotations
- White-label branding
- Unlimited users & clients

What is a client portal in HeyMetrix?
A portal is a curated landing page for one client. You add the resources they should see (reports, monitoring projects, campaign builds) with per-item labels, descriptions, and ordering, then send a single invite. The portal carries the client's branding (or yours), and its content stays live: the report a client opens in the portal always shows current data.
How does viewer access work, and what can clients see?
Invited clients register once and get an external-viewer account: their own login, read-only, limited to exactly the resources shared with them, with filtered fields and a viewer-appropriate agent. On a shared monitoring project they see the same configured metric columns as you, plus a built-in glossary that explains every metric in plain language, which cuts the “what does ROAS mean?” calls.
How do clients give feedback on campaign drafts?
On shared campaign builds, clients comment on specific elements (a headline, a description, a keyword, an image) as annotated feedback threads with statuses (open, in review, resolved). Your team is notified via an hourly feedback digest email, and the AI generates ready-made alternative copy from the feedback. Review rounds become asynchronous and traceable instead of a call plus a spreadsheet.
How do teams and roles work?
Organizations support multiple users with the roles Owner, Admin, Editor, and Viewer, at organization level and separately per resource: each project, report, campaign build, portal, and branding has its own access list. Email invites carry a role, a personal message, and an expiry; domain-based auto-join brings colleagues in automatically. There is no per-seat pricing anxiety: users and clients are unlimited.
What does white-label mean here?
Two layers. Organization branding puts your logo and name in the app's sidebar, so your team works in your tool. Client brandings are reusable design configurations (colors and logo, extractable automatically from the client's website URL) applied to shared views, reports, and portals. Your client sees their brand and yours, never ours.
Honest scope
External viewers are read-only by design: clients can comment and give feedback but never edit campaigns, reports, or settings. Viewer accounts are free and unlimited; they are participants, not self-serve customers. HeyMetrix is in early access.
Frequently asked questions about client portals
How do I share ads results with a client without giving account access?
Invite them as an external viewer to a project, report, or portal. They get their own read-only login and see exactly what you shared, live data in your branding, without ever touching the ad accounts.
Can clients comment on campaign drafts before launch?
Yes. Clients annotate specific headlines, keywords, and images; feedback arrives as threads with statuses, your team gets an hourly digest, and the AI drafts alternatives from the feedback.
Is the number of clients or users limited?
No. Organizations support unlimited users and unlimited client viewers; collaboration is not metered per seat.
Can each client have their own branding?
Yes. Brandings are reusable per-client design configurations (colors, logo) applied to shared views and portals, extractable automatically from the client's website.
What happens if a client shouldn't see certain metrics?
Shared views show filtered fields and only the resources you explicitly shared. Access is per resource, revocable anytime, and every project has its own access list.
